On May 20, a tornado struck Moore, Oklahoma, killing 24 people and injuring 377 others. It was a compact area that was struck, but the strong tornado ripped apart everything in its way. I was sent there by VG to cover the story, but when I had arrived there after a long flight from Oslo, the situation had stabilized a lot and I was sent home after a short while in the field. Even though thousands of families lost everything, it's beautiful to see their hope shine through.
