Day two for me in Holmenkollen. Here is a selection of photos I took to day when Norway's Petter Northug won a gold medal in the 30km cross country skiing for men. In the showcase is some photos that newspapers seldom publish, but I think is interesting.

World Ski Championship 2011 in Holmenkollen, Oslo
After a week of being news picture editor at Scanpix, I was sent up to Holmenkollen in Oslo to cover the World Ski Championship with other photographers from Scanpix. It's cool to be a part of a team where everybody have dedicated tasks. At the finish line I stood with a 400 f/2.8 and a ethernet-cable connected directly to my camera for live publishing. Cool stuff. Here are some of my photos from Holmenkollen covered in fog. The remote was set up be me and a colleague and fired by the guy standing closest to the finish line.
One year since Hausmania riots
One year has past since there was a small riot in Hausmannsgate in Oslo when house occupants, or squatters, was thrown out by the police. Here are some photos from the archive that I took for Scanpix.
Marte & Lennart
January 8, 2011 I took pictures in Marte and Lennart's wedding in Oslo. The ceremony was in Gamle Aker Kirke, which is the oldest building in downtown Oslo. They where very fun to take pictures with because they wanted nontraditional photos. Great couple.
